
The snow has melted and the grass is visible once again. 'Tis the season for outdoor, booty-kicking fitness - CrossFit style. Bootcamps are a great challenge for fitness freaks and escalator-abusers alike. CrossFit BRIO bootcamps will use our mantra of constantly varied, functional movement, executed at high intensity to banish sloth and flab to where ever it is hammer pants and the music of yanni went.
Each session your bootcamp coach will throw down a fresh guerilla ambush's worth of challenges for your muscles and your brain, fueling constant gains and fending off boredom. Expect to find yourself running like you stole something from the mall, jumping like Kris Kross always told you, and slamming sandbags like it's a regular meeting of rageaholics anonymous. Possible other activities include herding turkeys, punching slabs of beef, and wrestling live crocodiles*
*No, not really... Too bad though right?
You will need to bring your game face and an endless supply of encouragement, support, and un-ironic high fives for your fellow bootcampers. The cost is $99 per month for 2 sessions per week. Choose from:
Mon/Wed at Rotary Park at 5:30pm or 6:30pm
Tues/Thurs at Kinsmen Park at 5:30pm or 6:30pm
For an extra $20 per month you can also add on a third workout each week, taking place on Saturdays at the weir outlook parking lot under the train bridge on Spadina.
